navi.land is a stable, private, and no-bullshit email service. We don't track you, we don't sell your data, and we don't annoy you with ads. We provide standard email (IMAP/SMTP) that just works.

Email is a complete privacy bullshit theater. The only thing that's secure is PGP which is a bandaid fix for an insecure protocol. Despite this, we try to be as secure as we can but ultimately are limited by the nature of email itself.
navi.land doesn't read or scan your e-mail content in any way, but it's possible for any e-mail provider to read your e-mail, so you'll just have to take our word for it.
Providers like ProtonMail are lying to users when they claim end-to-end encryption. Even though we encrypt incoming mail before storing it (using Dovecot encryption at rest), we still receive the e-mail in plaintext first.
When possible, you should use GPG (PGP) with your mail correspondents to encrypt your message content and prevent it from ever being handled in plaintext on our servers. You should also download and delete your mail from our servers regularly, which alone is almost as good as encrypting your mail.
